Turbine Technology Aims for Growth in the Middle East and Asia
Central Florida Power Engineering Company to Attend Power-Gen 2010 in Orlando to Develop EMEA Markets
(ORLANDO, FL) —December 6, 2010— Turbine Technology Services Corporation (TTS), a full-service gas turbine engineering services firm based in Orlando, Florida, is strengthening its position as a global engineering firm by engaging power generation companies and foreign government representatives at Power-Gen 2010, to be held in Orlando, Florida on December 14-16.
Executives from Turbine Technology Services plan to be active at Power-Gen 2010 as they seek out new business development opportunities with energy generation companies in attendance from Europe, the Middle East and Asia—also known as the EMEA Region.
Power-Gen is the world’s largest Power Generation show, conference and exhibition of Energy Industry products and services, hosting over 18,000 energy professionals and more than 1,200 companies that will be exhibiting at the Orange County Convention Center—Orlando’s largest business meeting venue.
“Our goal is to take advantage of the fact that Power-Gen is in our hometown to strengthen our existing EMEA customer relationships and to introduce TTS to new customers from the region,” says Pat Begley, Vice President of International Business Development for Turbine Technology Services. “Power-Gen provides extensive networking opportunities and allows TTS to leverage its base in Orlando to develop new relationships.”
Turbine Technology Services has a strong presence in the EMEA Region and is seeking to increase its involvement in projects from countries such as Saudi Arabia, where increased demand for energy generation is fueling an $80 billion expansion initiative, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Eastern European Region.
Power plant managers and energy company representatives attending Power-Gen often seek to connect with companies such as TTS—as they are known in the Power Generation industry—which offer a cost-effective OEM alternative for service support and management of turbine reapplication and modernization projects.
Case in point, Cogeneration & On-Site Power Production magazine has profiled Turbine Technology Services’ work in its November-December 2010 issue, covering a project commissioned by the Kuwait Ministry of Electricity and Water to manage and engineer the first-ever reapplication of Frame 7EA gas turbine generators in a 50 Hz environment—a groundbreaking success for TTS.
Projects of this caliber and complexity are typical for Turbine Technology, which specializes in the management of gas turbine installation and modernization projects, as well as the servicing of turbine control components, and the provision of specialized services including control system support and combustion system dynamic tuning in power plants throughout the globe.
